6th Grade Notes:

Congrats on Space Camp today UPSF Officers!
Great work on your missions!


Homework:
Daily: Planner signed EVERY day.
Weekly: Check your grades on Skyward and keep up with missing assignments.
Independent Reading: Read 20 minutes every day (or 100 minutes per week).

Language Arts: (Always bring a red pen to class.)
  • A B C Tracks: DOL Sentences. Due: 4/30.
  • No Red Ink Assignments: All are due May 17, at 11:00 PM.
Science:
A/C Tracks: Space Camp today. No assignment.

Reading/Spelling:  
A Track: Parent Letter #17 due Thursday, 4/30.
B Track: Set your reading pace to finish our novels by 5/15.
C Track: Parent Letter #17 due Thursday, 4/30.
B, C, D Tracks:  See Country Report Guidelines Below.

Math:

A Track:  9-2 due 4/30.
B Track:  No Math Assignment- Finished in Class.

C Track:  No assignment. Space Camp today.

Social Studies:

C Track: Country Reports. Report outline due: May 20.



Ballroom Dance Club:  
Meetings on Wednesdays @ 3:30-4:10 PM. Come join the fun!


6th Grade Country Report – B, C, D Tracks

            We will complete our 6th-grade year by having our B,C, and D Track student’s research and write a Country Report.  This goes along nicely with our study of world history this year.

            Attached are the guidelines for students to follow in writing the report.  Most of the report will be researched and written in class however the poster, oral presentation with power point and final written report will be done outside of school.   

            Starting the week of June 15th, students will present their poster, power point, written report and any other items for display during class.
