Students will take a "vow" of silence for the day, and perform acts of service, as well as their regular class work.  

Please make sure to come dressed appropriately.  Your costume should be some sort of robe that falls below your knee, as well as a towel or pillowcase that is over your head, and safety pinned under your chin. This will be part of your Social Studies grade, so participation is mandatory.

Please write an essay comparing medieval society with our 2015 Utah Society.  Please give examples of the different people in Medieval Society, and what they would be compared to in our society.  Describe what jobs they had, compared to what jobs we have now.  Which type of person would you like to be?  Please go into detail about the different people that made up a Medieval Society and what types of people make up our society.  You are welcome to use the worksheet we completed in class to help with ideas.



  • You need to write 5-7 paragraphs with 7 sentences in each paragraph. 
  • Make sure that each sentence starts with a different word.
