Welcome back, C Track!

 

Notes to Remember:

C and D track Jog-a-thon will be Thursday, September 18th.  Let's raise an average of $25 per student!  All money raised goes toward field trips for 6th grade. The more money we raise, the more field trips we can go on!!!!

$5 required to participate in the Jog-a-thon (just like the Jump-a-thon in the Spring).

Homework:

Planner signed EVERY day.

Read 20 minutes every day (or 100 minutes per week).
Check your grades on Skyward. Turn in missing assignments ASAP!!!

Language Arts:  (Always bring a red pen to class.)
Oral Performance: "The Road Not Taken" due: Monday, September 29. Remember to practice memorizing it  LOUD, SLOW, AND CLEAR. 100 points.

Prepositions:  Memorize the first 15 on your list. Due: Tuesday, September 19. Correct Spelling Counts!!!
 

Science:  No Homework.

Reading:   All Tracks (A, C, D)

    Log into Edmodo, you should be in our group: BervenThomas Reading 
    Bring in your Parent Signed Edmodo Code of Conduct sheet, due: ASAP!!!!
    Check Skyward for any missing assignments. 

A & D Track Reading: Reading from Journey's Textbook

A & D Track Spelling: Skills Test #2 in class, Dictation #2 Tomorrow - study spelling words!
C Track Reading: Ancient Civilizations Reading
C Track Spelling: No Spelling

Math: 
Every Day: Do Relex Math until you reach the green light.

A Track: We will finish the second part of the 2-9 lesson on Thursday.

B Track:  OFF TRACK
C Track: Wkst. 1-15 "Remembering" side only due: 9/11. "Homework" side extra credit.
D Track: Worksheet 1-13 due Thursday

Social Science:
A Track:  Atlas done through Unit 11.  All missing pages must be done by Friday.
B Track:  OFF TRACK
C Track:  No assignment.
D Track: Atlas 4 a,b & 5 a,b due Thursday 11th

Technology/Keyboarding: All 6th grade students should be keyboarding at 28 wpm or higher. Use Typing Web at home to improve your speed and accuracy.
